Come celebrate the season with Downtown Luray, on Saturday, May 5th, for our 14th Annual Festival of Spring. Spend the day amidst the historic charm of this small town near Luray Caverns, at the edge of the Shenandoah National Park. A perfect outing for families, stroll down Main Street as it comes alive with fine crafters, delicious food and drink, and live entertainment. Relax and sample vintage pours from Virginia wineries while enjoying performances by local musicians in our wine garden. If hops and ales are more your thing, head over to the Beer Garden for more tastings and live acts. Many local artisans and nonprofits participate in the festival, creating a true community experience. Children will be entertained with activities like a dog Frisbee competition, face painting, bounce house, and train exhibits.
We invite you to spend the day or the weekend in Luray, which is located in the legendary Shenandoah Valley and offers an impressive selection of recreational activities, nearby major attractions, and cultural history. Downtown Luray is a registered National Historic District where festivals, performing arts, paved walking trails, an art museum, and monuments are accessible year-round.
