If your idea of a perfect fall afternoon includes fresh oysters, handcrafted cocktails, live music, and good company, mark your calendar for one of the Shenandoah Valley’s most anticipated culinary events.

On Saturday, November 14, The Mimslyn Inn will host its annual Oysterfest, a lively celebration of Chesapeake Bay flavors set against the backdrop of one of Virginia’s most historic and charming inns.

From 3 to 8 p.m., guests can indulge in oysters prepared a variety of delicious ways while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of The Mimslyn’s beautiful grounds and gathering spaces. Each ticket includes up to four dozen oysters, giving seafood lovers plenty of opportunities to sample their favorites.

Whether you’re a traditionalist or an adventurous foodie, Oysterfest offers something for every palate. Featured selections include:

Pair your feast with a specialty cocktail from the cash bar and settle in for an afternoon that captures the spirit of the Chesapeake.
