Tours & Pricing
You don’t need a reservation to tour the Caverns. Many guests purchase tickets upon arrival.
We never sell out, and you can always gain access to the Caverns during operating hours.
A self-guided tour of the Caverns takes a little over an hour. However, we recommend allowing 2-3 hours to tour the Caverns and experience the other attractions included with your general admission ticket.
General Admission includes Luray Caverns, the Car & Carriage Caravan Museum, Toy Town Junction, and the Shenandoah Heritage Village.
There are several ways you can get discounts on your entrance to Luray Caverns.
- Children 5 and under: no charge when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Groups of 20 or more receive discounted admission.
- $9.50 student tickets (through grade 12) for school-sponsored educational groups with 15 students or more.
- 50% off your second adult ticket with a Giant or Martin’s BonusCard.
- $6 off admission from participating military bases or discount tickets through participating MWR/ITT offices.
Groups of 20 or more receive discounts. We ask that large groups contact our Reservation Office, 540-743-6551, a couple of weeks before their planned arrival.
No discounts will be applied to Discovery Tour admission cost.
