The Garden Maze

Unravel the mystery of the largest hedge maze in the Mid-Atlantic states – a one acre ornamental garden at Luray Caverns.

Over 1500 Evergreen hedges create a half-mile pathway that diverges at over 40 points. Challengers must navigate their way through twists and turns while searching for hidden goals on a mission to discover the secret of the maze.

The Garden Maze is fully handicapped accessible and is perfect for baby strollers. Cooling mist helps beat the heat, and umbrellas are provided for light rain.

CURRENT HOURS: Daily 11am-5pm weekdays & 11am-6pm weekends (weather permitting)

The Garden Maze is located on the Luray Caverns campus. We are in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, just 90 minutes from Washington, DC.

The Maze is 10 minutes from the central entrance to Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park, and 15 minutes from I-81 at New Market, Virginia.

Admission tickets can be purchased at the Luray Caverns ticket window or at the Garden Maze gatehouse.
