A question-and-answer program with scientists from around the country was videotaped live at Luray Caverns in March. Rippon Middle School from Woodbridge, VA set up class in the Cathedral Room for live interaction. Still available at https://caveslive.org, thousands of students from around the world tuned in to ask questions and learn about specially adapted animals, beautiful mirror pools, sparkling crystals, domed caverns, and twisting tunnels that lie below our feet in many areas on earth and even on other planets. Caves provide just one connection between our everyday lives and these rich underground ecosystems. In conjunction with Luray Caverns, the event was produced by the U.S. Forest Service and Prince William Network.
