There’s no better place to celebrate America’s independence than in Small Town, USA.

The Downtown Luray Annual Children’s Parade kicks off the Fourth of July at 10am at Inn Lawn Park.

Deck the family in red, white, and blue, and follow our big, festive fire engine as it winds through the streets of Luray. Prepare a traditional family picnic or grab a bite at one of our downtown diners for a tasty American treat.

Keep cool throughout the day with complimentary refreshments provided by the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Head to Main Street for star-spangled shopping and dining throughout the day, then join the Downtown Get Down in Ruffner Plaza and the Greenway Mechanics Street lot from Noon–9pm. Enjoy food trucks, games, and live music at both locations. Music will be provided by Who Shot John, Blue Ridge Rain, Raised on Analog, and Low Low Chariot.

When the sun starts setting, head over to the banks of Hawksbill Creek to watch the sky light up for our night-time evening spectacular fireworks display.

Continue the patriotic celebration and enjoy the rest of a festive night with live music at Performing Arts of Luray’s outdoor patio, featuring County Line playing Rocking Country with a hint of classic and southern rock. For more information, visit www.TownofLuray.com
