Luray Caverns is open every day of the year.
Self-guided tours depart after 9 am.
From April 1 to June 14
Daily 9am – 6pm
From June 15 to Labor Day
Daily 9am – 7pm
After Labor Day to October 31
Daily 9am – 6pm
From November 1 to March 31
Weekdays 9am – 4pm
Weekends 9am – 5pm
Tickets are available at the entrance to Luray Caverns. They can also be purchased in advance.
Discounts
There are several ways you can get discounts on your entrance to Luray Caverns.
- Children 5 and under: no charge when accompanied by a parent or guardian
- $10.00 student tickets (through grade 12) for school-sponsored educational groups with 15 students
- 50% off second adult ticket with a Giant or Martin’s BonusCard (only available for tickets purchased on site)
- $6 off or discounted tickets through military base MWR/ITT offices
Large groups should contact our office a couple weeks before their planned arrival to assure the best possible service, including preassigned entry. Learn more about our group rates.

Luray Caverns is located right off US 211. To find us, follow the signs for Luray Caverns and turn onto Cave Hill Road.

When visiting Luray Caverns, please refrain from touching the stalagmites and stalactites. The Caverns are a natural site, and we aim to maintain their preservation. Thanks for your cooperation!
